Job Duties:

• Plan, coordinate and implement media activities to support marketing campaigns and business growth of the Bank Group
• Act as press contact for the Bank, handle media enquiries, coordinate press conferences/media interviews and prepare for news releases, speeches, line-to-take, presentations, etc.
• Devise communication plan, deliver messages about the Bank’s corporate development to the media and handle incident/crisis management
• Monitor news coverage on the Bank Group, report and follow up on any news issues
• Manage, update and monitor the Bank’s website on corporate and product/service announcements
• Work with relevant business/operation units on preparing the Bank’s entry to relevant award programmes, publications and other publicity materials
• Assist the section/department head in overseeing relevant policies and communication programmers, attending relevant working group meetings and reviewing the Bank’s reputation risk management

Requirements

• University graduate in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline
• Minimum of 6 years’ solid experience in corporate/marketing communications or in-house/agency public relations management, preferably gained from the banking and financial services industries
• Familiar with social media operations with strong media networking and exposure in corporate social responsibility programmes
• A good team player, pleasant, proactive and able to work independently and under pressure
• Sensible, excellent communication sense, strong interpersonal and project management skills
• IT savvy with excellent PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
