Data Scientist (HK$40K-45K; 5 Day; Kwun Tong)

Our client is an AI technology solutions company in Hong Kong. They are looking for a Data Scientist to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct applied research in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP) and text analytics
  2. Work with researchers to implement and optimize the algorithms, setup relevant experiments and prototype solutions
  3. Work with developers to integrate algorithm solutions into products

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor or above degree in data science, computer science, software engineering, information technology or related discipline
  2. Min. 4 years working experience in relevant role, and with 2 to 3 years managerial experience
  3. Understand machine learning fundamentals such as feature extraction, learning algorithms, training and evaluation
  4. Experience in data analytics and modeling tasks
  5. Strong programming abilities (e.g. Python, shell script)
  6. Experience in programming in Unix/Linux
  7. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g. Git, SVN)
  8. High proficiency in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
