Business Analysis Manager (Luxury Retail, 5day; HK$40K-45K)

Our client is a renowned luxury Retail group. They are looking for a Business Analyst Manager to join their growing team:

Job Responsibilities

  1. To set up and perform regular reports and analyses in order to facilitate business performance tracking and provide business insights
  2. Assist design and implement various reports to enhance the Group and SBUs analytical efficiency & effectiveness
  3. Perform various weekly and monthly business reports at both Group and SBU levels, including KPI dashboards, performance tracking reports and business review decks
  4. To manage the implementation of consumer market research studies and ensure quality deliverables from outsourced agencies
  5. Work with research agencies to formulate research design and to prepare research materials, e.g. sample size and composition, questionnaire, discussion guide, data processing specifications and tabulation plan
  6. Perform QC measures on the fieldwork and data processing process including but not limited to attending agency briefing, conducting fieldwork checking, performing consistency and accuracy checks on research data and findings
  7. Monitor the progress and execution of research projects, ensuring the projects are completed according
  8. Plan and implement in-house research studies to address company research needs
  9. To prepare performance analyses on key financial indicators among the company and major competitors on regular basis
  10. Gather information and conduct competitive analysis to understand key competitors’ positions, including but not limited to their channel distribution, pricing, product and service strategies
  11. To conduct desktop research to understand macro economy, industry environment as well as the market and consumer trends and translate findings into meaningful insights for business planning
  12. Collect and consolidate various market info into meaningful analyses to provide understanding and insights on a regular basis

Requirements:

  1. Degree holder in Marketing, Statistics or equivalent discipline
  2. Minimum 6 years of experience in similar role in retail, banking, telecom or other service industry with solid experience in managing market research
  3. Highly computer literate and professional user of statistical software and database tools, e.g. Excel, Access, SPSS and data mining tools
  4. Detail-minded and analytical
  5. Strong project management skill
  6. Able to work independently and under pressure
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills
  8. Fluency in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua
