General Manager (Ladies Accessories; 5 Day; HK$1mil per annum)

Our client is a large Ladies Accessories Group. They are looking for a General Manager to join their growing team. 


Major duties:

  1. Head of the entire operations of the brand, including Sales, Marketing, Retail Operations 
  2. Oversee day-to-day operations and monitor performance of the retail shops to maximize sales and productivity, manpower efficiency and customer service standard
  3. Lead and manage the Sales and Operations Team for the profit & loss of the retail shops including setting and monitoring sales target, gross and net margin target, as well as expense control
  4. Contribute to business plan formulation and be responsible for the implementation of initiatives to grow market share & profitability, enhance quality and brand image.
  5. Ensure functional teams are working cohesively and effectively in support of business operation and growth.
  6. Design and develop marketing strategies and vision, collaborate with internal departments to develop product launches and devise media and marketing strategies
  7. Develop full year sales plan, identify key drivers by categories & by customer by strengthening sales fundamental on portfolio optimization, maximizing the distribution and driving the quality and quantitative merchandising KPIs
  8. Develop strategic and tactical customer business development plan to capture opportunity gap by channels
  9. Plan and implement shop-opening strategies to ensure new shops are up and running and deliver the expected performance according to plan for supporting the aggressive growth plan  
  10. Plan the human resource requirements for ensuring a stable and capable workforce to support the business; and implement staff development / succession plan for long-term business development.
  11. Evaluate and implement modifications to existing operations, systems and procedures to improve efficiency of operations


  1. Degree Holder in Business Administration or related discipline
  2. Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in Retail Operations/Marketing area with at least 6 years in supervision level, preferably in FMCG, Retail industry
  3. Independent, attentive to details, with positive working attitude
  4. Proactive, customer-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Fluency in written and spoken in Mandarin, English & Chinese
  6. Strong planning, organization and time management skills
  7. Strong sense of responsibility and able to work under pressure
